“We have been so inundated with political rhetoric from both parties that we have unknowingly formed implicit biases about things that are essential to thriving communities. Things such as affordable housing, public healthcare, diversity, and public education.”
@princessnaiii
There’s an old saying that says “we love our sons and raise our daughters”. It’s most common in the black community. As a parent of a boy and a girl I raise both my kids and love both of them. They both need to be loved and good structure and moral values.
@jasrifootball
How many of the players that he pushed out when he got to CU were black? It was a good win and they played great but let’s leave race out of it.
@rweingarten
I’ve watched a lot of the school board meetings and I haven’t seen one act of violence. A bunch of shouting and signs but no violence warranting the FBI involvement. The FBI has way more dangerous criminals to catch than worry about parents advocating for their kids.
@Pete_Nakos96
It’s time to start looking into separating football/athletics from the universities and just make it semi pro. It’s no longer about education or academics but how much money can we make.
The number one priority of an educational institution should be academic achievement. All other priorities should support the number one priority of academic success for all students.
#EducationMatters
As we reflect on 2021, our situation in 2022 is dire. We face an unprecedented targeted assault on public education in 2022 which requires unprecedented support, advocacy, and mobilization from our community to repel.
School board is one of if not the most important elected official. They determine the educational future of our youth which has a huge impact on the future of our communities, our families, and our country. Pay attention to school board elections and candidates.

You can hate the sin but still love and care for the sinner. We all don’t like somethings that America or our government does but we all still love and are proud to be American.
@Doc_Texas
She didn’t do too well in her 2020 debates. Then she had to drop out of the race because her campaign was a disaster. She had no real agenda or message.
@DariusJButler
Brock Purdue was actually good in college. He had a bad year and a bad team the year he came out so his draft stock fell. No way he should have been Mr. Irrelevant.
@AaronJFentress
The media has hyped Colorado and coach prime up all year. They played 3 below average teams and everyone had him in the college football hall of fame and gave his son the heisman. Dan Lanning simply said we have a good team and we have a heisman quarterback too then his team
@kyleumlang
Let’s hope we stay mentally strong and don’t let this loss drive us into a downward spiral. Win out including Big12 championship and we are still CFP bound.
@CJVogel_TFB
I disagree. If Texas went undefeafed and won some ofnthose games against teams like Houston like they did tonight then maybe. But Oregon is still the best 1 loss team. And if Bama beats Georgia then theres an even bigger argument.
@inglewoodpimp
@jasrifootball
I think it had more to do with experience than it did race. He’s never coached college football until 2 and a half years at Jackson State.
@LinaHidalgoTX
So what should have been said was the aftermath of the natural disaster was man-made not the disaster itself. But pointing fingers and politicizing it doesn’t help anybody. Just fix it.
@MattRKay
A teacher did prop the door open, and then closed it. The door probably didn’t close all the way behind her in order to engage the lock. I’ve seen it happen a few times especially with older buildings. You have to slam the door shut then make sure it’s locked.

The Judge asked several times why Gov. Abbot didn’t just override the order with his own executive order which he can do. The case had no legal bearing it was political. So Gov Abbot overrode the Austin order with his own.
@EmmanuelAcho
It’s literally a photo of a 14 year old kid standing and watching. Not saying anything. Not doing anything just looking. Would anyone have known it was Jerry Jones if the media wouldn’t have said it was him? We are making more out of this than what needs to be.
@bluebloodsbias
The question is, if they were in the SEC or Big 10 or even Big 12 would they have been voted in the playoffs? If the argument was they were left because they didn’t have Jordan Travis then moving to another conference won’t make a difference.
@kyleumlang
If Bama beats Georgia then that will be the best win of the season. So far, Michigan has the best win of the season against Ohio State. For the CFP and one loss teams, I don’t think it’s about best wins for them it’s about worst losses and right now Texas’ loss to Oklahoma is

I mean there’s a few people with codes that have to be entered anyway not as if Trump could launch on his own anyway. This is all just scare tactics and fearmongering.
@dannykanell
CU won but CSU could have won easily, they were the most dominate team. CU doesn’t have depth and their defense and o line is terrible. They have captivated the world with great marketing and storylines but now the real season starts with teams with equal or better talent. Let’s
This morning I was at the Metz/Sánchez PPE & flu shot distribution event.
COVID cases are rising.
Austin needs servant leaders who are on the ground and listening to families in every neighborhood. When I'm elected to the school board I promise to continue doing just that.

Half the bar/club owners downtown are racist. And I agree that area should have been designated historic district and holly street/7th street area.
@kat_armas
Let me say this, I have nothing against women in ministry but I think we take those scriptures out of context. These women in the Bible were commendable and helpers in the early church but they were not leaders in the church. Let’s not bypass Ephesians 5 and 1 Timothy 3.
