Oakwood have just shared a video of the incident on Bounce (strange that it was filmed on what appears to be a phone?) The ride moves completely through the shock absorbers and hits the floor before moving back up. The shock absorbers slow the gondola, but clearly not enough.

so disappointing that @altontowers have completely overpriced this year's fireworks accomodation. Literally cost £414 for me to stay two nights at splash last year. This is very unreasonable for the exact same experience. Want to stay for fireworks but likely won't.

Something I really like about Drayton Manor is all of the staff communicate over radio on rides, whereas @altontowers or @THORPEPARK they just scream over the PA to the entrance or something. Just something I find odd that the merlin parks don't do...
