Right? She got it from a really good seller about 30 years ago, and she hardly ever takes it out of the case she has for it. No green ears or anything!
Also before I get into all my posts today, I thought it would be good to clarify something. This clip has been trending a lot on TikTok andโฆ Audrey never said this. This clip is AI generated, using one of those quotes thatโs always falsely attributed to her.

They tend to go really big with the costumes, makeup, set designs but it justโฆ looks SO beautiful, like looking at a Leyendecker illustration
Iโve had to respond to posts like this before, but Audrey Hepburn, a victim of the horrible atrocities of WWII, should not be your thinspo. She nearly died during the war, and many of her miscarriages could be traced back to lingering health issues relating to her malnutrition.
Iโve seen some tweets about this, but completely ignoring classic lit/media is not the move you think it is. You donโt have to necessarily like it or agree with whatโs being said, but remaining contentedly blind toward history and the progress made is incredibly problematic.
Happy birthday to the incomparable, inspiring Audrey Hepburn. Though itโs now been 30 years since your passing, your grace, talent, selflessness, and strength still linger to this very day. The mere essence of you can be found everywhereโ what a beautiful reality. ๐๏ธ๐
It's hard to believe that 30 years have passed since Audrey Hepburn graced the earth with her presence. While the pain of her death will never go away, her indelible presence and spirit will not dissipate either. The way that she still continues to touch lives is incredible.๐
Here is the interview. Not my favorite (the interviewer comments on her body and physical appearance a lot), but she never says this during the interview. Please please be careful and be wary of AI.
31 years ago today, we lost the indelible Audrey Hepburn. Magnetic. Spirited. Brilliant. Selfless. All these words, and many more, apply to you. The lives youโve touched are innumerable as the stars, mine included in the bunch. There will never be another like you. ๐
THIS! I am so sick of people literally just stanning her based on her fashion sense/aesthetic. Literally reducing her to an image, rather than looking into what she was actually like as a person, the selfless work she did for so many people. Itโs disappointing.
look what finally came in the mail!! soooo if you're fav won an oscar between 1928-1974, tell me and I'll show you the picture that was drawn of them ๐
Happy birthday, dearest Audrey. You have left an indelible, enduring mark, not only in my life, but in the lives of so many others. You are a constant source of inspiration, a reminder of all that is beautiful and good in this world. Your light will never dim. ๐๐
not to be mean but genuinely no one can really portray Marilyn Monroe. most of these films just hype up her image and not actually HER. it's honestly depressing at this point that, even almost 60 years after her death, she can't really be given the justice she deserves
We lost her on this day in 1993. As Elizabeth Taylor said, โGod has a most beautiful new angel now that will know just what to do in heaven.โ
Rest in peace to the strong, selfless, loving, and talented Audrey Hepburn, the dearest one to my heart. Your impact is indelible. โค
She was malnourished because of the war which led to many underlying health issues and contributed to several of her miscarriages. She couldnโt be a professional dancer because her legitimate lessons were cut short during the war (when she was a teenager, a very critical stage +
โThe greatest victory has been to be able to live with myself, to accept my shortcomingsโฆ Iโm a long way from the human being Iโd like to be. But Iโve decided Iโm not so bad after all.โย - A.H.
Dabbled in every genre with such professional and graceful EASE. Brought warmth, passion, and genuineness to every roll she embarked upon. Not to mention she won an Oscar for her first legitimate film role ever? Yeah, sheโs incomparable โ a very talented, skilled actor.
