Jaden Ivey closed out his freshman year with a long lasting impression of his 1st round talent and two way ability. 26 points, 4 made threes and flashes of that quick twitch athleticism. Likely returns to solidify his 1st round status and make a legit run at the 2022 lottery

I love when GG Jackson gets downhill. It allows him to optimize his size, length and athleticism while opening up more opportunities for him to build on his playmaking flashes

Hunter Sallis is equipped to become an impactful off ball player and add to his NBA role versatility. Pairs bounce and length (6’10 WS) as a finisher with a good feel for when to cut and how to set them up. Shot 40% on c/s threes (133 3PA) alongside movement shooting ability

Xaivian Lee’s upside is tied to his on ball work, but he can add value off the ball with his shooting, screen navigation and cutting. Has a feel for setting up screens and cuts

Herb Jones does whatever is needed to help Bama win, from the glamour work to the dirty work. 21 PTS & 13 REBS (6 off) w/ 4 ASTS, 3 STLS & 1 BLK to lead the comeback. Projected 2nd round pick & potential draft steal, especially if the 3PT shooting continues to trend upwards

Jackson is quietly one of the best cutters in the draft. He understands timing, set ups and how to find space. I'm hoping to see more of it in the NBA, weaponizing his physical tools a bit more off the ball to get easier buckets

There is a lot to like about Maliq Brown, especially the fact that he’ll play a similar collegiate role as his projected NBA role. Energy, play finishing big with defensive playmaking value. Duke’s frontcourt will be a defensive terror with Brown, Flagg and Maluach
Maliq Brown might just be the most underrated add in CBB😳 - 2024 All-ACC defensive 1st team - 2nd highest true shooting % in CBB last season (73%) - led the ACC in deflections - 99.7 defensive rating while playing out of position in 2023-24 - 135.0 offensive rating in 2023-24

No PIT really hurt guys like Andy Van Vliet. He would have built some buzz there as a stretch big with ball skills, impressive passing and good enough defensive mobility in space. Flashed in the Big Ten at UW before Bo Ryan retired too. 38% career 3P shooter on 179 attempts

Sheppard is a true gamer. Seems to have a knack for stepping up in big games and moments. You can’t teach that

Kentucky's Reed Sheppard showed why he's a projected top five pick in a huge road win over Tennessee. 27 points (7/10 3P), 6 rebounds, 5 assists for the best freshman in college basketball.

Mobley is one of my favorite players in the 2024 class. He might end up being one of the more polarizing NBA prospects in his draft class because of his size and archetype. Either way, I’m buying the mix of elite shooting, shotmaking, creative handle, playmaking and PNR play

John Mobley is the best example of the Steph Curry effect on basketball; insanely deep range both spotting up and off the dribble with good off-ball movement. Also does tons of damage off extremely high P&Rs. Should only get better as he gets stronger. Plays both on & off-ball

I want to see Reggie Perry more at the 5 in the NBA where there are more advantage opportunities for him. Creates mismatches with his combo of ball skills and strength. Instant contributor as a finisher, passer and rebounder (10.1rpg) as his shooting develops (30% 3P on 110 3PA)

Bub Carrington seemed to progress defensively as the season went on. Despite questions around his strength/frame, I’m hopeful that his utilization of length and activity can yield positive results as a defensive playmaker and overall serviceable defender

Great sequence from Bryce McGowens that illustrates some of his NBA appeal & upside as a defensive playmaker & fluid shot maker. Utilizes his 6’9 wingspan off the ball to deny & get the deflection. Then shows off the recovery length on the ball for the block & transition 3

Encouraging playmaking reads and execution by Jaden Hardy throughout a tough shooting night (2-15 FGA, 0-5 3PA). Moments of leveraging scoring gravity into shot creation for others, hit ahead pass, and PNR pacing and patience. Finished with 5 assists. Hoping for more of this
