The elders admit defeat, allowing Jungkook's and Namjoon's mating to continue on, with the moon's blessing. Jungkook's uncle, no longer head alpha, is punished - his crimes chosen by none other than his own son, who was know in control of the Jeon pack. And Namjoon & Jungkook?

Namjoon kisses his temple, cheeks, mouth. "I was wrong before. /We're/ the fated ones. Names don't matter, it was always you, Jungkook." Nose kisses come next. "You had to take away your name all this time, but you'll never have to do that again. Not with me. We're home."

"No." Jungkook says, not thinking. "Oh?" Namjoon says, disappointed. "That's ok. I'm sorry." "I mean... I... I've already seen you." Jungkook stammers out, pulling his legs towards his chest. "I... snuck out that first night you all came. I'm sorry." He's not sorry at all.

Should he run away? Maybe Junghyun was right in doing what he did, getting away from all this. Would it be better if Jungkook ran too? Sure, maybe Namjoon seems happy enough with him. But he thinks Jungkook is Junghyun - lies only create more lies. It will never end.

"Junghyun?" The voice of alpha Namjoon calls out from an open window. "Is that you?" Jungkook yelps, falling onto the floor quickly to hide from view. "N-Namjoon-ssi?" He squeaks. "What are you doing here?" "I... honestly? I couldn't stop thinking about you."

The omega stumbles, feeling dizzy. Namjoon reaches out to balance him, leading them over to a sofa that has 4 blankets strewn on top. Jungkook grabs one, burrowing himself inside of it, all the while mumbling. "What are you trying to say, baby?" "Jung...k." "Who is Jungkook?"

Namjoon lets out a smile, a laugh just like the one he heard from the window before. And oh - the alpha has dimples, one on each cheek. Blooming like flowers, showing how happy he is. Jungkook tries to mirror the smile, forcing his lips upwards as they step closer again.

Namjoon doesn't look convinced, he turns to Jungkook, pulling him away from his uncle's reach. "Is this true, Junghyun? Is he telling the truth? You can tell me, you can trust me. This is /us/, remember? We've been bethrothed almost since birth. We're fated." But - they're not.

The Kim pack seem happy, cheering along. Namjoon laughs next to Jungkook, the alpha radiating such warmth & happiness that Jungkook almost sobs. Namjoon takes his hand again, this time bringing it inside his veil to kiss. Namjoon's lips are soft against his skin.
