I did a thing today. I paid off my mortgage with $$ I inherited when my mom passed away in 2022. It’s bittersweet. I promised her I would pay off my house with that money. My mortgage was coming due and I was def not getting the 1.8% on the current mortgage. Merci, mom ♥️

Dear @RandyAmbrosie Please don’t cancel the season yet. Think about games without fans and televising them as pay per view (like fights). There are a lot of #CFL fans out there. I would pay to watch all the games - not just my @REDBLACKS Give us something to look forward to. 🙏🏻

Today is #WorldAIDSDay My dad got tainted blood in a surgery in the 1980s and died of AIDS-related pneumonia in 1995. My mom was HIV-positive for 40 years but died of cancer. Got my AIDS ribbon tattoo on my dad’s bday in 1995. I honour them and all those living with HIV-AIDS.

The holidays after you lose a parent are tough. Today, is my birthday and my mom would have called at 9:30am (apparently when I was born) to sing me Happy Birthday. She did give me a bday card 3 weeks ago - I think she knew she wouldn’t be around. 😔

Had a big scare late last night when a blot clot decided to bleed out of my surgical incisions. BIG thanks to the amazing @OttawaParamedic team of Sara & Liz (my first ambulance ride!) and the wonderful nurse and dr at the @QCHOttawa who all took great care of me! Home now 😊

My dad got tainted blood in a surgery and he passed away 25 years ago. My mom who is HIV-positive is healthy today thanks to the advances in medicine. I honour them and those affected by HIV every day. I got my tattoo on my dad’s birthday,a month after he died ♥️ #WorldAIDSDay

Home from my surgery. Big shout out to the Winchester Hospital nurses (and surgeons) who took such good care of me. It will be 6 weeks til I can exercise again but I’ll be better than ever. I just wish they made stronger pain meds. 😉

I’m going to say it - I try to be a positive fan. But there should be some @REDBLACKS changes this week. The coaching is awful. Our season is done. If @REDBLACKSBurkey cares at all about this year and the fan base (and for them to come back next year) … he needs to prove it
