@MattSametEsq I think the biggest hindrance is that Stephanie Hsu is competing in the same category. I looooved JLC in the movie but I would not agree with rewarding her over Hsu. Maybe it'd be similar with Dern if there was a supporting actress in Marriage Story people loved more (Weaver?)
