@JUSTIN_AVFC_ I think that’s one of the reasons why Chris Heck cancelled this. It was only going to take us up to 50,000. I don’t mind what they do to Villa Park, but the only thing I don’t want them to do is demolish The Holte End! We need to keep The Holte End because that’s our engine.

@18bk74 Sadly even amongst some Villa fans I’ve seen racism and islamophobia. Every time a Villa fan posts about the off the pitch issues at Villa Park, they’ll be 1 or 2 Villa fans making racist islamophobic undertone comments about it being the locals fault, and for them being Muslims.

@RationalVillan @JUSTIN_AVFC_ Exactly mate we don’t need to leave Villa Park. There was a viable plan to get a 60,000 Villa Park. Our owners didn’t just make up a number and draw a massive Villa Park on a piece of paper. There was clearly a feasible plan there, otherwise they wouldn’t have put it out to fans.

New North Stand plans were shelved by Chris Heck back in December 2023, however there is a new plan in place to redevelop Villa Park up to 60,000. It’s not a promise, but the club are going to try and break ground in June next year.

If you look into what Chris Heck did at the Philadelphia 76ers from 2013-2022, it was a massive success. He turned a club that was failing to reach the community it sat in, into one of the most popular clubs in the NBA. Heck is a commercial expert, and the future is very bright!

@avfcisaac @18bk74 We’re only going to sign a right back/centre back mate. Geertruida is the one close to joining us, if Diego Carlos goes to Fulham. You can only register a 25 man squad. I think it’s unlikely that we’re going to sell anyone else, apart from Diego Carlos this window.

I am a little bit worried that we’re starting to become a selling club. I’m not sure Dobbin and Iling-Jr are going to make an appearance for Aston Villa, because it does seem like we’re buying them, just to sell them on for a profit, after their loan spells, which I don’t like.

I’ve just found out that our attendance for the Bayern Munich game was 38,000. That’s not good enough from Sawiris, Edens, and Heck. You can’t price out fans, and think it’s ideal for the club. We’re not selling out! Even the 25,000 people on waiting list can’t afford corporate

Great second half performance. We started the game really well, but after 10 minutes, I thought we switched off which was disappointing to see. Lucky goal from Watkins, but you’ve got to be there to win the header. Duran’s goal was beyond world class! Very similar goal to him! ⬇️

As much as I wanted João Felix at Villa, we already have Rogers and Buendia in the Felix role, you can only register 25 players, and the priority position is a centre back/right back, with Diego Carlos likely to leave. Geertruida will be a perfect signing for us, if Carlos goes.

Excellent last 30 minutes from us! Barkley was excellent, Maatsen was brilliant, and Duran was immense. Fair play to Emery because in the first half we were sleepwalking a little bit, and it was a poor from us, but he gave them a pep talk and we played as a team! UTV 💜🩵

We’re not leaving Villa Park mate, that’s been reported for a while and the club have said there’s been no discussion or plans. The club have finished the inner city academy redevelopment behind Witton station, they’ve also finished renovating the club shop. We’re staying!

Fulham are interested in signing Diego Carlos from Aston Villa. Diego Carlos only has 2 years left on his contract, with Fulham currently leading the chase, and expected to make an imminent bid for the centre back. Negotiations are underway. (Source: @SkySportsPL )

We did bring in 4 new board members in June who have an expertise in infrastructure, stadium redevelopment, and owning a rail network which ties into transport links. I think something is in the offing, and it wouldn’t surprise me if around Christmas they unveil plans.

@AVFCOfficial Disappointed by this. Yes it’s good for his development, but to buy a player for nearly £20M, only to ship them out on loan 3 or 4 weeks after they’ve signed for us, is a bit disappointing. Hopefully Dobbin smashes it, but I still think it’s a bit weird.

@rdmavfc I was ridiculing fans for saying “we’re going to win the league” or “we’re in the title race” and yesterday proved it. We aren’t going to win the league! Maybe in 2 or 3 years time we might, but we have to get top 4 again this season, so we can attract the big players.

@davecave8 I completely agree mate. I think the owners are trying to charge as much as they can, whilst selling out Villa Park. If they don’t sell out Villa Park, they’ll put the prices down. The prices in the Conference League games last season were cheaper because we weren’t selling out.

@villa_woody1000 We have to bring in more revenue. If we don’t, last season will be a one season wonder. In June 2025, we need to demolish the North Stand and get a 60,000 Villa Park, because we all know that’s what the owners want. They put it out to fans 2 years ago, and they still want that.

@OsamaNajib23 You don’t forget how to play football. Ramos’s tackles and interceptions are still as good as they were in 2014, but he’s a lot slower now, and he has lost his pace. However, is Ramos great in the dressing room and helping our back 4 keep their shape, during the game? Yes he is.
