you can’t moodboard your way into having personal style. sit down, be friends with your clothes, think about how you would like to express the person you are right now, spend time dressing up and it’ll come in time.
i don’t have a personal “aesthetic” really. i have more a personal “style” in the way i wear clothes. sometimes i feel confused because there’s a lack of uniformity in my wardrobe. but then i realise there’s me in everything i seek.
gorgeous gorgeous girls don’t fear the passage of time. they understand that societal obsession with youth isn’t everything, and that growing into the person they’re meant to be is a beautiful thing.
