The definitive, optimal settings for #FFXIV (if you're running on a decent PC or laptop). If you can't get 60 FPS with these settings, you should use what works for you, but please don't use the "High" or "Maximum" presets, as they waste frames in stuff you barely see!

#FFXIV Dawntrail ReShade PSA: To get depth buffer effects like Ambient Occlusion and Depth of Field to work in Dawntrail, you need to change this global setting in ReShade/GShade! This is now required after the in-game Graphics Update.

PSA: To get the ReShade depth buffer working on the Dawntrail benchmark (required for Ambient Occlusion + Depth of Field effects, among others) you need to set the input is reversed value to 1. The depth buffer allows shaders to act "in 3D" rather than just on a flat plane.

FFXIV has borked netcode with double animation locks that only becomes an issue with higher ping. SE: *doesn't care because it doesn't affect JP* FFXIV has reports of packet loss in Japan because of local ISP issues. SE: WE MUST INVESTIGATE!!!!

PC #FFXIV Settings PSA: Set "Transparent Lighting Quality" to Normal. And SSAO to Strong. There is a visible difference with HBAO+ but it is *definitely& not worth the performance hit over Strong or Light. The Transparent Lighting Quality option is just literally a frame eater.

quick route/guide for round 1 of fall guys in #FFXIV 1st obstacle you just gotta strafe in the direction of your arrow spinny section there's a safe route thru the middle if u use strafe keys last bit just strafe to avoid the snowballs while pointing towards the columns
