It was so hard to say goodbye to our friend and colleague this morning.
Please read this to learn more about the wonderful talents Nick possessed and to hear the beautiful words of his loved ones.
All of my love to the Sheridan family today.
Nick was so full of life and colour and a joy to sit alongside and present with.
A hugely talented journalist, an imaginative author and a friend.
But even for a man who’s talent came to life in his writing, somehow words are not enough.
"Nick has been a wonderful colleague. He was a hugely talented journalist, presenter and author – and one of those rare people who light up the lives of everyone around them."
Head of News and Current Affairs at BBC Scotland Gary Smith pays tribute to Nick Sheridan.

A year ago today I ran my first marathon. It is still hands down the hardest but most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. I vowed to run one when I was 7-years-old and finally achieved that goal at 25. 🏃🏽♀️🏅
