@alexthechick Great thread. It confirms some of what I've observed. Social media has hindered it, but Gen Z is to the Millennials as Gen X was to the Boomers - tired of their bullshit. Gen Z wants to enjoy life, and yes is young and left as most of Gen X was at that age, but open minded.

@mattyglesias That's not true Matt. The email server was a clear violation. They decided not to prosecute, which was the right decision. In this situation, there is no case at all, but because any jury they could find would convict Trump of anything, they brought it.

@oliverbcampbell Have been in corporate tech for 25+ years. Feels right to me. I expect similar at other companies. Too many folks focused on whether their company hits ESG goals, or has this or that social impact. Those people aren't rowing the right direction, even at a social media co.

@SalomeSibonex It's important to always remember that wealth is created constantly. It isn't a pie to be divided. How much any one person has, has no impact on your own wealth. Bill Gates has probably made more other people wealthy than any human in history, but not by giving anything away.

@TRHLofficial @EdKrassen If the USA really had private lockable stalls in every bathroom (no big gaps on sides and bottom), like Europe, then bathrooms would be less of an issue. But locker rooms and rooms with less privacy are an entirely different story. There we must protect the many not the few.

@JonathanTurley They don't care about the actual effects of any of these policies. They care about being able to offer these policies as a means of buying votes. That's what it's all about for them. Ensuring they can profit from the division of people into groups.

@bendreyfuss You miss the point. The "study" was 3 pages. Funded by an organization with an agenda. It makes assumptions that are scientifically impossible (can't *cause* asthma). Yet some agency wanted to act on that. The outrage is deserved for that reason alone.

@Boenau @rchitectopteryx We don’t relate because we don’t want this. Bikes are a menace in such circumstances. There is no way for vehicles to pass with that much space, especially a bus. So any one cyclist prevents all traffic from moving faster than he does. He needs to move all the way to the curb.

Former FDA commissioner says what we all know to be true, natural immunity is superior (always was), and Twitter agrees to censor it on behalf of the bigger maker of the vaccine? It never should have been approved for kids either.
