When people ask how are Itsekiri Yoruba? I just recite 1-10 Okan Meji Meta Meren Marun Mefa Meje Mejo Mesan Megua. Or I ask the meaning of these names Modokpe Timeyin Omawumi Omayeli Eyituoyo Emiloju Olutseyi So I ask all doubting Thomases, you still in doubt? Itsekiri is Yoruba

Itsekiri is not and will no longer be seen as a minority tribe in Nigeria, so long as we are a subgroup of Yoruba Nationality, we are a majority, therefore our present geographical location does us no justice. Warri State should be a SW state. We are tired of all the bickerings.

Funny how some Igbos are jumping on the @warristatemvnt page to tell us to move to the SW as no part of the East will be ceded, now that is a stupid take, but worthy of note is how the Urhobos are quiet. The enemy of my enemy syndrome. Onye Igbo be warned, we don't roll like that

Yoruba creation story tells of a powerful one who can fron the sky, and they have been mocked as believers in fairy tales. But ancient societies, Sumerians, Kermit, Aztec and more talk about people from the skies who created their societies. They are called ANUNNAKIS (sky people)

When I say Itsekiris have been marginalized in Delta State, many came one here to say I was delusional... Now one of them of Facebook spits this truth as a way to mock us... Well reinforces the call for Warri State now

Awolowo 1st saw this present state of Nigeria & asked for a secession clause to be included in the constitution, Azikiwe fought against it. Adaka Boro tried to pull Niger Delta away, Ojukwu sent him to prison. And Ironsi had him killed after setting up a unitary system.

Yaaayyyyy My first hate DM. So this silly young lady jumped into my TL with her Bini supremacist agenda, arguing with a Yoruba dude who gave evidence of his points (Videos and news paper shots). I questioned her weak refutal response and she asked me to run along.. on my TL ๐Ÿคฃ

It's so sad. But my Warri dey sha, make Una come try am there make I check something. Yoruba people are diplomatic

@DuchessMing Yoruba work their asses off to promote their culture, through movies, music, fashion, food, love and when they sell it to the world, they call it Nigerian culture. It's not our fault you guys ain't selling yourself well enough. Yoruba love Nigeria, remarketing has to stop now

The Itsekiris have endured decades of systemic neglect and underdevelopment despite being the linchpin of Nigeria's and Delta State's economy. This stark disparity between the region's immense resource wealth and the pervasive uncertainties among its inhabitants is a critical /1

When one without a tribe (tribeless) or the one who chooses to be detribalised (tribeless) comes to tell you that you are a tribalist. Keep in mind, that one has a tribe to protect... The TRIBELESS. Everyone belongs to a tribe. Don't be fooled. Liberalism is a tribe.

Nigeria has no identity but the ethnic identities of the different tribes that makes up the country. Why can't we understand that the best where to progress as a country is through A Geo-Ethinic society recognised and respected

When people say they are disappointed in President Tinubu, it's largely because they just want to be disappointed. Think about it for a second, why are they really disappointed? They will say it's the level of hardship. Well, the world is experienced hardship right now. So?
