It’s my 36th birthday. I’m feeling a bit let down by the bad weather. The rainy Friday depresses me because I have to bring back extra stuff for napping from my sons’ nursery, which is a pain. The rain will stop in the afternoon, so it will be okay. ☔️→☁️✨

We went to Inokashira Park to enjoy seeing cherry blossoms which started blooming but it was too hot to spend under the sun in the heat of 28 c. We decided to beat the heat by taking shelter in a boat, allowing us to get closer to the cherry blossoms and enjoy them comfortably.🌸

I went to a shrine located in the very center of Tokyo, which is known for its strong power of fortune and warding off evils. I got a paper fortune that advised me to move forward with courage and let go of what I need to discard. That was very thought-provoking and meant a lot.

Our family had 七五三to celebrate our sons’ growth. It was so chaotic to make them wear kimonos, get photoshoots, and go to the shrine that I hardly remembered how was that. I'm relieved rather than happy that I could wrap up this event without any trouble.😇😂

The broken AC in the living room was replaced last Saturday while my sons and I were visiting my hometown. Finally! The heat outside has been becoming unbearable and ridiculous these days, so I’m glad that we could welcome this AC before the peak of summer arrived.

My mother sent me a lot of Shimonita green onions(下仁田ネギ), Maitake mushrooms, and big Shiitake mushrooms. I love 下仁田ネギ, which are much thicker than the usual ones and have a soft and melty texture when it got heated. They are exquisitely flavorful 🤤

I was so rushed riding my bicycle to the station that I was about to crash into another bicycle with two kids at the corner this morning. I was re-notified that I must never rush riding a bicycle, though I got the train that was barely on time to the office. It was horrible 😱
