Good to see some juniors cheering on
@HungerfordTown
at Oxford today. Nothing wrong with the performance, just wasn't our day. Looking forward to watching the boys put it right on Monday πβ½
What a privilege for our Lionesses who were joined at training tonight by WBA's
@KerryWalklett
Lots of smiles and laughter as the girls showed off their skills. A big thanks to
@nickypinks
for arranging this. You are welcome back anytime Kerry β½
Congratulations to our U10s on winning the Cirencester six-a-side. A lot of hard work and resilience was needed to get through the nine games, including holding their nerve in a penalty shootout. Well done boys π
Great for some of our players to meet the
@HungerfordTown
player we are sponsoring this season. We have no doubt that Reece is going to be a fan favourite this year π
On
#InternationalWomensDay
we want to celebrate our Lionesses that are smashing it this season. They are our only all girls team but we are committed to giving more girls the opportunity to play football. Watch this space for details on taster sessions for girls of all ages.
A big thank you to
@DanRobbo1986
and all of the
@HungerfordTown
players that took the time to talk to and have photos with our players. The bond between the senior team and the juniors has never been stronger. Credit to
@HtfcPatrick
and
@Dazzydee0914
for the work they've done π
Great result for the first team today. Enjoyed by those that were mascots but also by many others watching in the stands. Thanks
@marc_greenslade
for organising it once again π
A late one for our lads and a tough night for
@DanRobbo1986
and the first team boys but we have full confidence you can turn it around. Onwards and upwards πβ½
What a great afternoon at our presentation evening celebrating the season and the successes of our teams and players. Great to see the camaraderie among all the teams!
Not too many games for our teams this weekend. One highlight though was a convincing 5-2 victory for our Lionesses over a strong Stratton team which saw them move up to second in the league π¦β½
Great to see so many boys and girls at training tonight, all undeterred by the foul weather. There's something special about football under lights whatever the weather!
This weekend marks the start of the season for most of our teams. Good luck to all of our players. Remember, we all like to win but the most important thing is having fun with your mates. Go and smash it β½
Hungerford Juniors FC is keen to increase female participation in the club. As such it is pleased to announce an open training session for girls aged 4 - 16. Whether you have played football for many years or never kicked a ball you are welcome to come along.
Great to have three Lioness teams at three different age groups playing in the
