A friend of mine broke it off with her fiancé at their rehearsal dinner because he’d become increasingly toxic & abusive over the course of their engagement. I still marvel at & admire the bravery that took—it was humiliating for both of them but also very much the right decision

If you get married in your 20s and find yourself feeling a creeping dread that you made a mistake, but you’re scared of the embarrassment of being divorced young/a short marriage/not working hard enough at it, or even worried that it’s too late now, ITS NOT TOO LATE.

A cool thing @netflix is doing now is locking you out of your account if you have more than one wifi network at home. They give you an endless loop for “reverifying” your devices, denying you access until you finally give up and, I’m assuming… cancel? Awesome plan, my dudes.

I don’t usually buy into hype cycles, but I am shaken after having a brief chat with this AI. The unsettling part was that it felt like it knew everything & it was asking *me* the questions. If this technology advances as expected, every professor—little or big—will suffer (1/42)
