Spotted salamanders in our backyard. We put tin down by our wildlife pond to attract these critters. They were huge! Herping right out of the back door! If only I could lure mud snakes in somehow 😂 #herps #herping #wildlife #nature

So there I was, hiking off trail deep in the forest searching for rock art when all of a sudden, 6 inches from my face, I see another face smiling at me 😂 needless to say, I opened my mouth probably as wide as this cotton’s! December and 40 degrees folks. Close to snake road!

Some fool on here posted a photo of his killing of a copperhead. Snake hater type-anyways, I want to show one I found. Big and older and I made sure it safety got off the trail before anyone could harm it. ❤️ 🐍
