Most of such walkways have gone extinct post road-based urbanization. Some are still preserved in kerala around Kottayam, Palakkad, Idukki etc. Such walkways are very cool and lively with animals compared to scorching roads. @Rjrasva

Indians can turn any nice spot into a no-go-zone really fast lol. This is a countryside in Palakkad, Kerala after someone put up reels about the beauty of the place on Instagram. Entire place was jam-packed on Sunday.
