On this day in 1536, Anne Boleyn was led to the scaffold. She proclaimed her innocence during her last confession & spoke bravely whilst on the scaffold. She asked that those who would meddle in her cause going forward would judge her the best. ❤️

Anne Boleyn's coronation was perhaps even more lavish than that of King Henry VIII. On 29 May, Anne was taken by barge to The Tower of London. She was surrounded by a flotilla of 60 other barges & over a 1000 rounds of canon fire were shot when she landed at the Tower wharf. 1/4

These 2 adorable teddy bears will eventually be available to buy in the shop. But before we approve the final design we want to know what you think.
Would you be interested in purchasing them? Do you think the design needs to be tweaked? Do they look cuddly enough? Let us know!
This morning, we took Anne Boleyn's Books of Hours back to the Best Bedchamber, the room where she most likely read them. Who knows, maybe this is even where she wrote her famous inscriptions. They are now safely back in their cases after their little excursion! ✨
Gloves or no gloves?
