@ABridgen @Jenny_1884 First, these marks are designed to reduce liquid particles (not gas). Second, there is plenty of evidence that wearing a mask, when you are infected, helps reduce how much of the viral load you spread (true for most respiratory diseases). Much less so that wearing such a mask

@darrengrimes_ What you forget to mention is that CO2 emissions are cumulative - every single Kg of CO2 the UK has emitted is still up their contributing to climate change. We are the 4th largest cumulative emitter (after USA, EU and China) - so we have a lot of damage to repair.
