Im starting my New Who/spin offs rewatch, going by my list. Feel free to join me in this journey, experiencing the order people viewed the shows in the order they aired. If you want something to do while we're locked in, here's the list. Enjoy!
My first thought was 'people are going to be so mad', but then I remembered that 'The Girl in the Fireplace' exists. Anyone who has a problem with this beautifully queer episode and the romance but didn't with 10 and Reinette are big old homophobes 🏳️🌈

Imagine an alternative timeline where it was Sarah Jane instead of Mel, and we saw her reaction to Sutekh. Lis Sladen knew how to show that deep guttural fear. I just know she would have killed it.

This household can't stand Lindy Pepper-Bean, but STANS Callie Cooke. She did such a great job, basically taking the lead and doing the whole episode solo. Carey had other actors to work off in Blink. Most of the time, Callie was solo 🤯
#DoctorWho
Confirmed by David Tennant in The Star Beast commentary, Ncuti and Millie will continue to use this TARDIS interior for at least Series 14/Season 1!
#DoctorWho
The moment where The Doctor hands Donna the sonic in her house was nearly cut. I'm so glad Phil Collinson fought to keep it in. Such a subtle but important moment that leads to Donna remembering.
#DoctorWho
I hope they finished filming all of Bernard's scenes for the 60th, having that one last adventure with Wilf would be so special. That man was one in a million ❤️
I hate how many people stopped watching Doctor Who after Matt Smith left. Peter Capaldi was perfect casting and they missed out on so much *perfection*
#DoctorWho
It baffles me how many people don't know that Doctor Who S1-12 is on BBC iPlayer and haven't watched it in a long time because it was 'taken off netflix'.
Old Ruby and The Woman are played by two different people. The way they filmed that last scene made it look like she was trapped inside her rather than actually her. Was that part of the loop. She let Mad Jack free by reading the note, so she had to stop him to close the loop
What people might not realise is that we had the Torchwood S2 finale with Tosh and Owen dying, then Partners in Crime literally the next day. The whiplash the fans watching both shows back then would have gotten 💀
#DoctorWho
No matter your opinions on the current era, you have to agree that the BBC and the powers that be have treated this era of Doctor Who terribly. They deserve everything that came before it, especially with the first female Doctor, and they haven't had the same treatment.
So far, RTD has:
Brought over the Sex Education fans with Ncuti Gatwa
The Heartstopper fans with Yasmin Finney
The Drag Race fans with Jinkx Monsoon.
I feel like he's going through every fan base and taking people's faves, so they all watch Doctor Who 😅
The way Chibnall took this era back to its roots of being an educational show was something so special to me. I loved learning about Rosa Park's story, the history behind the Partion of India, I thought Tesla was just a car brand, and I hadn't heard of Mary Seacole.
#DoctorWho
I would LOVE a target book series of Flux. That story is screaming for a novelisation. It could come in a set with 8 books, showing the original vision for the series pre covid.
The decline of Doctor Who merch is very sad to think about. New Series Adventures books, for example .The 9th Doctor had 6 books, the 10th Doctor had 30, the 11th Doctor had 15 books, and the 12th Doctor had 9 books. The 13th Doctor only had 3 in five years. She deserved better.
The first time I watched the Series 12 finale, I hadn't watched alot of Classic Who and I enjoyed the Timeless Child reveal. Now I've watched all of Classic Who, I still love it. Doctor Who is all about change, this is just another one. Otherwise it would of ended years ago.
I got these clips because they parallel eachover, both having a companion character getting disowned by their mother Carla due to a mysterious curse.

#SJA
I'd love a book about Behind The Scenes on Doctor Who during the pandemic. It could go into how they did it, what the original plan of Series 13 was, maybe give Jodie, Mandip and John a chapter each. There must be some stories I'm there.
RTD was told they had hardly any budget left but he still had an episode left to make. This is what he gave us. A story almost self contained to this tiny cabin, with little CGI, no real monster and a small cast. But it's still one of the best stories we've ever had.
People were funny when The Doctor reacted strangely when Graham told her about his Cancer scare, but Clara told The Doctor that Danny died and he literally said 'And?' 😭💀
@hiimbobbi
Also, shows with a ton of seasons/episodes are more rewatchable because it's harder to remember everything that happened, making going back to the beginning more satisfying.
Attack of the Sea Devil
Defeated by tripping over
This is why they don’t return they tried once and fell over so gave up which is a mood we all relate with
@kkthedoctor
My theory is it's not any words in particular. It's probably a curse type situation like we had in SJA with The Curse of Clyde Langer. The whispers get into your mind and change your thoughts.
One thing I do miss about earlier New Who was all the random food merch we got. There was nothing more exciting waking up Easter Morning and having a Doctor Who Easter Egg, or on your birthday getting a Doctor Who Birthday Cake. I still have my dalek double egg cup!
Let's spread some positivity today. I'm very excited to see Millie the upcoming series. She was great as Ruby at Christmas. I think she has the potential to be one of my favourite companions! ❤️❤️➕️♦️

If they put Doctor Who on iplayer in one day I'll cry. The wait each week is hard but worth it. You need the time to let the episode sink in, maybe have a rewatch and discuss it. Let's hope the BBC don't get too obsessed with keeping up with streaming and go mad.

@AmberRoseGill
She told Aaron she wanted him to recouple with her and wasn't feeling Danny, he got vibe and went in and now she's telling everyone that it was one sided while flirting with Danny??? That girl is dangerous. Can't wait for the other islanders to watch this episode back.
'The Curse of Clyde Langer' from SJA is up there as one of the best stories that's come out of anything Doctor Who related for me. Very bold to cover something like homelessness on a children's channel, and it has great performances from the whole cast, Daniel Anthony especially.
I loved how 'The Last Sontaran' (SJA E1-2) showed just how ruthless the Sontarans are. This lone Sontaran nearly destroyed the whole planet. He didn't need ATMOS or a child genius, he did it himself. The crew couldn't even stop him, it took Chrissy to come in unexpectedly.
I want more Doctor Who friends. I don't really have anyone in my life irl who watches the show, and every time I talk about it, it feels like I'm boring people. I could sit and talk about Doctor Who all day with the right person.
I wish people understood 'The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe' instead of just declaring it as rubbish (which it's far from)
It's a great character piece on Loss, with the added bonus of Christmassy Who madness and far away worlds. Perfect for Christmas Day.
@AmberRoseGill
I feel like Liberty is settled with Jake, but Jake isn't settled with Liberty.....I can see waiting and him getting with the next girl that walks in 😬
Confirmed by David Tennant in The Star Beast commentary, Ncuti and Millie will continue to use this TARDIS interior for at least Series 14/Season 1!

@TheQueenofSkaro
If they haven't then that's fine, It's not about the episode it's about celebrating him doing something he clearly enjoyed doing his whole life. This is a weird angle 😳
If they really are "Phasing out" Jodie then that's awful and disrespectful to Jodie, the cast and crew and the fans that adore her Doctor. Hopefully this is all rubbish, but that paper have been right alot in the past so I'm not sure.
If I had a nickle for every time a Whoniverse show travelled back from the mid-20th century to the present day to find their world destroyed by a member of a pantheon, I'd have two nickles, which isn't alot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
#DoctorWho
Thinking of David Tennant, Catherine Tate, and everyone who worked closely with Bernard Cribbins today. It must not be easy for them ❤️ We're all heartbroken, and we didn't really know the guy, so I dread to think how they're coping right now 😢
Happy 63rd Birthday to my Birthday twin, Peter Capaldi!🎉
Its an honour to share this special day with such a legend. No wonder he became my favourite Doctor!
I love my
@bbcdoctorwho
bookshelf ☺ It feels so good to have my life's book collection on display in my room. Sometimes I just find myself looking at it for minutes 😂 and I still have books I need to get. I didn't even know until last year that they had so many out!
#DoctorWho
Dwtwt can be so strange sometimes. I actually feel bad for being excited about Murray Gold's return. Yes, new stuff is great, but Murray Gold's music was perfect for Doctor Who (imo) and I can't wait to see how he's evolved.
Dead Man Dating (Charmed 1x4) is still one of my favourite episodes. This show really was great from the start. There's some beautiful performances from
@H_Combs
and
@JohnTheCho
. In another timeline, Piper and Mark could of been great together ❤
#Charmed
Yes, we've had Time Fracture and Time Lord Victorious, but they've all been extended media projects and not focused on the main show. Even the NSAs, Jodie has only had 3 while even Chris had 6 and he was only around for a year. I hope whoever is next get treated better.
It's been pretty cool to see more people get into the Doctor Who books recently. There are a lot of hidden gems from your fav TARDIS teams you're yet to discover 😊

@TiaKofi
Yinrun has been nothing but nice to him, and he isn't standing up to her. It's really disappointing to watch. I guess if he did, it would make that tiny room very awkward. But just because he doesn't want to go against the grain doesn't mean he has to join in on the hate train.
I'm so glad I spent the time in 2020 to watch Classic Who. Before, I'd watched a few stories. I absolutely adore it now. It made me appreciate Doctor Who even more than I already did. And Peter Davison is one of my new favourite Doctor's and his Era is *chefs kiss*.
It seems like BBC Doctor Who are trying to alienate the content creators in the fan base. Without people talking about Doctor Who online and making these videos, my enthusiasm for the show would be no where near the level it is with the huge gaps they're taking between series'.
Congrats to
@marieclareslife
for completing her reactions to the original run of Doctor Who! It's been a long journey (5 years🤯), but I've had a blast watching the classic era (partially for the first time at the same time) with you. Here's to the future 🥂
Watching
@GlowUpBBC
every Tuesday is honestly one of my favourite parts of the week. I don't wear makeup or know how to use it but this show has had me hooked since Series 1😂 It's like an extra camp and fabulous version of Bake Off and I LOVE it.
#glowupbbc
@raggedydocs
It feels like the opposite of a jumping on series. Maybe that's why they didn't want the rest of the revival on Disney+. New fans have nothing to compare it too.
I'm on Kerblam and I honestly think Yaz has done more and has more screen time than Graham and Ryan. I don't know how people can say she doesn't do anything or where this idea came from. Arachnids and Punjab are both Yaz stories, and she spends the most time with The Doctor.
@sueperkins
My mum's cousin has brainwashed her elderly parents into thinking that covid is a massive conspiracy. If they end up dying from Covid she's got to have some responsibility for that. She's stated 'say no to face masks' Facebook groups and she makes me sick.
Previously, extended media has been in the background to the show, but in recent years it feels like the other way round. I really hope the marketing team are waiting a bit longer before they start. I want the same level of marketing at Series 11 plus more. They can afford it.
