(Thread) Dior men FW21 with Services Généraux. What a project that was. A few months ago, I worked along side our TD & other artists to setup a procedural ice setup in #Houdini to shroud in a thick white ice photoscanned and modeled items from Dior. Here's the result:

DOOMNOVA. Shorten side exhaust. I wish I could do car sound design to create what I imagine a V8 with short pipes sound like. I tried to focus on the mechanical parts; chassis, suspensions, engine, gas tank. It's almost all here but maybe not accurately placed. #c4d #octane

Well, I can cross this from my bucket list. I designed and shaded the helmet for Nike x Ambush. It's an amazing project. Fun fact, we shot this using a Mamiya rz67 to get the grain and feel right. Great work from everyone.

What the man said. Currently running a mega prod on Redshift, I don’t understand how studios can choose this engine. Between the archaic tools, the slow speed, it became more of a “X engine is better” argument. We work in an iterative process, and it affects the end result.

Congrats to all Redshift heroes! I dont know how you do it day to day with crashes/ipr bugging with every texture/with 1m polygons that take minutes to load/with glasses that look like dirt and with region render that calculates the whole image. Kudos to all of you brave people!
