BTW these are the settings if you want a Cm scale: You can choose the scale using the Formant Knob. For example 0.65 would shift it up to C #m and -1.35 would be Bm. Low BW = more ringing High BW = more detune I also recommend messing with this in Noise mode too!

Friendly reminder, you do not need to go out and buy expensive plugins to add tonality/"colour" to your basses. You can create colour bass easily with free plugins such as Vital or your DAWs stock plugins.

@splice On the technical side, if you are using compressors, use them in combination with sidechain EQs by cutting from 200hz and down so that the sub-frequencies of the kick and bass don't trigger the compressor as much.
