I've decided to create a website where you can find potential business ideas in Somalia and/or share your own. Living in Somalia has given me a lot of ideas, so I want to have a place where I can share them.

Since moving to Somalia, my workweek goes from Saturday to Wednesday, and my weekend is on Thursday and Friday. I work half-days on Thursday, and Friday is all about family, fun, and relaxation. That is the blessing of living in a Muslim land and working for yourself.

The word 'Somalian' really irritates me; it's one of my pet peeves. And those who frequently use it, either have a hatred for Somalis (the correct term for Somali people) or use it when they want to portray us negatively.

Let's remember to include Palestine, Sudan, and Yemen in our daily dua, especially during our qiyam layl.

My time in Nairobi: -Helping my sister move -Frequent Eastleigh visits lead to ankle sprain (working from home made me soft!) -Spending all my time with family and not doing anything related to work Grateful for these moments before I go solo & dive back into my goals.

We need to find a better way to celebrate in Somalia than using gunfire, as gunfire definitely does not symbolize happiness. They had me ducking and crawling in my room today😅

My current goal, which I am obsessed with, is to establish a large family compound for homesteading in Somalia, where I can live with all my family and relatives together. The main challenge is convincing them to move to Somalia and then deciding on which city to settle in.

My life lately: gym and coffee while juggling 101 things I'm doing. I have not pushed myself harder or stepped out of my comfort zone as much as I have in the past few months. May Allah accept my efforts.
