Anthony Bourdain was a chef contemporary, a friend and an icon for chefs as well as others around the world. He had a uniqueness that opened many worlds to many people through food and hospitality. It’s truly a sad day and my heart grieves for his family. Rest in peace Anthony.

These are my roots. Yesterday I visited my primary school in my hometown of Worcester, Thorndyke Elementary. What memories came rushing back. I used to walk home for lunch and would watch a show called the Galloping Gourmet while I ate. I loved every second of it.
