5 years ago, thinking about how disposable art's become, I wondered how l could tell a bigger story. I worked with my friend Bernie on a titling algorithm. I thought it'd be a throwaway experiment. Instead I made 3 albums. I've been waiting a long time to see these together.

4-5 years ago I was so mentally foggy on my epilepsy meds I couldn’t speak off the cuff on stage. Now I’ve been seizure-free for 2 years and feeling 100% myself. Our minds are delicate little bird nests and I’m real grateful for the times I feel I have my twigs in place

In 2016 I raffled off my Subaru to anyone in North America. The winner- Sarah- lived in Ithaca, NY, almost as far as possible from me in LA. I drove it out to her, gave her the keys & flew home. She came to the Syracuse show last night & says the Subie’s still running great 😁
