@pissvortex People who never worked in restaurants don’t know the hell and horror that hospitality workers face lol. One time after a brunch shift my phone said I took 24,000 steps and climbed like 20 floors. And there’s def no union rules your “break” during your 9 hour shift is 10 mins max

I’m somewhat speaking to my past self here. but something that helps people struggling with their identity is hearing from and engaging with ppl who are living the idea that they’re exploring. Like a majority of trans people would say “yes you’re trans enough”

@LeftLiner @GnarledGnome @justinboldaji to give you some credit, this is also how a lot of people feel about realizing *they're* trans. extremely obvious but only in hindsight. the matrix is an allegory for what it feels like to live as trans and in reality, most people don't think about that experience often/at all.

perhaps... the issue is not that "nonbinary people who don't medically transition take up too much of trans spaces" and rather it's "there are not enough trans spaces" and "the trans experience is extremely diverse but it's constantly over-simplified because of cisnormativity"
