Our students impeccably observed the Remembrance day silence today. 5 Y7 students attended the Guiseley War Memorial for a short service. Sam Gallagher, Mia Naylor, Leo Fielding and Daisy Birch were joined by Olivia Leather who played the Last Post at the ceremony.

As the clock struck 11, the school fell silent and everyone watched from their windows as the notes from The Last Post rang out over school grounds. An incredibly poignant moment, as we remember those who gave their lives in WW1 so we may have our freedom. Lest we forget.

We wanted to wish alumnus Tom Nicholson-Watton congratulations on his debut for the Leeds Rhinos first team on Friday night. Tom made his debut at Headingley against Castleford, the Rhinos went on to win 46-0. An amazing achievement and the start of a long and successful career!

The Music Department have had a really positive end to the year. Many students have completed ABRSM and Rock School practical exams with great results. Matilda in Year 9 has just got a Merit in Grade 5 Vocals. Here she is singing Dream a Little Dream of Me - incredible voice!!!
