Conservative Member of Parliament for Mid Buckinghamshire. Shadow Transport & Shadow Business Minister. Promoted by G Smith, 34 Buckingham Rd, Winslow MK18 3DY.
Good to catch up with
@NFUtweets
President Tom Bradshaw and Vice President
@DavidatWestons
at Conservative Party Conference, along with Cllr Robert Carrington. Very important to keep up the pressure on the Government to increase the farming budget.
Keeping our
@Conservatives
members engaged is something we do monthly at
@MKConservatives
and this month ahead of conference we had
@gregsmith_uk
joining us with
@Ben_Everitt
to share their thoughts with us.
Always nice to see new members too. Thanks to everyone who attended
A pleasure to visit
@roalddahlmuseum
in Great Missenden earlier to meet with their Director Steve Gardam. Such a fantastic facility to visit for families and school trips alike. Great to hear about their plans to expand this wonderful Bucks attraction.

A pleasure and hugely informative to attend the 110th anniversary event of
@BucksMind
. Supporting people with mental health need is so important. I’ll be following up on conversations with professionals this morning in the interests of getting better support for constituents.
Great to meet stall holders at the Wendover Local Produce Market earlier. The market is held on the third Saturday of every month on Manor Waste (area outside Sweeney’s) and is well worth supporting! Thank you to
@WendoverParish
for organising and to all stall holders!
Yesterday I joined
@bbfuk
for their Bucks MPs roundtable. Buckinghamshire Business First does a superb job for businesses big and small across our incredible county and I’m always pleased to support their initiatives to help local businesses grow and thrive.
Another packed help and advice surgery just completed in Princes Risborough - with an array of cases I’ll be taking up with Ministers, the Council and other agencies.
Next surgery is on 18 October 2024 in Naphill, please email greg.smith.mp
@parliament

Grateful to everyone who stopped by Wendover Station earlier to share their concerns about
@chilternrailway
with senior execs from the railway. I’ll keep pushing Chiltern Railways and the Dept for Transport for measures to combat overcrowding and get new trains delivered.
The quality of our roads comes up a lot when I meet constituents.
@BucksCouncil
have a £105 million road repair fund and I was delighted to see Wendover High Street has been resurfaced this week. I’ll keep pushing for more Mid Buckinghamshire roads to be resurfaced soon.
Applications for this year’s
@KelloggsUKI
Breakfast Club Grants are now open. I’m hoping all schools in Mid Buckinghamshire apply for a grant of £1000 to help fund your breakfast club -
