CERN ๐จ๐ญ TRIP UPDATE
This morning in CERN we travelled on their coach to Cessy in ๐ซ๐ท to their CMS detector. We were lucky enough to travel 88 metres below ground to where the detector is installed. We were privileged to have the company of a female professor in particle physics.
Congratulations to Emily in Year 11 who came 3rd in the Merseyside County Cross-Country Championships and has automatically qualified for English Schools Championship in Nottingham on 18th March.

Language leaders visited Churchtown Primary this afternoon and delivered a cultural afternoon to 120 pupils. It involved food tasting, a quiz and role play. The pupils delivered with enthusiasm and were a credit to our school.

'Huge congratulations to all the athletes that took part in Division 1 of the Sefton athletics competition today. Greenbank are overall Sefton Athletics Champions 2022 an amazing achievement for all involved. Many great performances and some pupils became individual champions.
9 netball teams represented Greenbank tonight from Yearโs 7-10 in a match against Range High School. A great night of netball was enjoyed. Well done to all! Photographs of the 3 year 7 teams can be seen.
