This article demonstrates the feasibility of using 129Xe MRI in clinical practice. Discordance between symptoms, spirometry and MRI can support the use of further treatment or suggest coexisting breathing control issues or laryngeal disorders.

Been doing a v interesting audit in GP; people with asthma prescribed only salbutamol. Speaking to patients on >14 salbutamol inhalers a year who describe their asthma as “well controlled” 🤦🏼♀️
7 years ago I missed my offer for Birmingham med school, if you didn’t get the a levels you were hoping for, I promise you can do it (tears are allowed for today), from a very tired F1 x
So managed to get to day 13 of being an F1 before any tears, so lucky to have been working with such a supportive team this weekend to pick me back up ❤️
