@brbird You said things would be handled w/grace. It was a mess of character regression & ignoring s6-9 canon. I want to know why it’s dismissed that L loving his family unconditionally wasn’t a calling with purpose. Why isn’t that heroic? L stood alone to save HV. Did E not forsake L?

I can’t believe a family show had their female lead retroactively become untrue, threw out her pure heart, had her break up with a guy she let parent her child, saying, “Yes to it all.” 2023 mercurial morals inserted into a 1920s period show? HV was an ideal, now it’s “real.” Ew!

@Divine_Lustre The thing I find most grand of what L has done, is L patiently waited for E to journey out of her grief. L became E’s friend, fostered her dreams, & let her go, when he saw E struggling to move on. The library, UC trip, etc., were secondary to the love & care he showed her.
