I think it’s to emphasise how much of their life is only tennis + why art wants to retire because he doesn’t get to be a dad, Tashi barely says anything to lily either and what she says is like ‘we’re talking about tennis’ + ‘how was grandmas?’ They don’t have time to parent!
Patrick asking Tashi why she’s wasting her time with college tennis while art, going to Stanford, Donaldson is stood next to him oh I’d steal his girlfriend too

shaking that woman’s hand one day after she posts a cartoon depicting you as a monster oh imane khelif you have more grace in your pinky than jk rowling has in her entire castle
Certain people on challengerstwt would benefit from just ignoring opinions and takes they don’t like instead of getting all worked up about a tennis film bc its just making this corner of the internet so catty for no reason
The challengers dvd having NO special features is actually insane btw like people are already buying less dvds one of the main incentives now is the special features and with so many no longer including them im so worried thats gonna become the norm
Couldn’t afford the challengers auction items, couldn’t afford the vinyl, local cinema doesn’t have the poster, can’t find a decent tshirt or poster online that’s affordable
Hello can I please have some recommendations for foreign language films that aren’t the super obvious ones! I want to expand what I watch but it’s harder to find non-English films that aren’t massive award winners
A man just followed me through my uni, told me to take my shirt off and that I ‘wouldn’t get away with this’ and after a while came into the library to find me and say he had reported me all because I was wearing this t-shirt
(Cutoff says cry I think i succeeded tbh)
Chapell roan getting mad at stalking, harrasment and things like that is perfectly normal and valid. But her getting mad that someone wanted to take a picture with her rubbed me the wrong way. I guess some people really can't handle being famous
I’m so sick of snobby fucks on here being condescending about people casually enjoying films on here just because they’re not some incredibly deep observations, this is literally just Twitter babes
@DRMSTARRY
@jisungctrll
You have no right to say that. You weren’t there + how dare you add ‘her feelings are valid’ pretending you give a fuck about victims more than you care about random streamers on the internet
@alliewatchestv
He looks so sad 😭 also the fact that their deal at the beginning of the scene is that if she starts making out with one of them the other will wait in the bathroom but when she starts making out with Art, Patrick intently watches instead 😭😭
@alliewatchestv
I feel like if Tashi kissed Patrick first Art would’ve left + I think she could tell he was the more unsure of the two which is why she does kiss him first bc she knows Patrick understands she wants them both
making a reality show based on a fictionalised reality show that brings attention to how the upper classes exploit the poor and then making fun of a guy on said reality show because he lost the chance for a life changing sum of money is the least self aware move of all time btw
No actually I’m going to blame the corporation who would only cast little people as fantasy creatures and not human beings instead of the guy who asked them to stop doing that
@ABEDlSON
No i definitely think she was bc if she was being serious why would she go through all the trouble of asking Patrick to throw the match?? Her ass did not wanna leave him I’ll die on this hill
Me when I remember that we literally only see Art enjoying tennis while Patrick is there, in fact we never really see them play without the other because they’re not actually playing tennis unless it’s with the other
Patrick lashes out at Tashi at Stanford because he doesn’t like feeling inferior, not because Tashi is better at tennis but because she doesn’t think he’s good at Tennis (which is what he gets from her trying to fix his game)
