@Agrippa_Inv Great post. For the last 3 years, I've argued that $MARA shouldn't be getting a premium price based on their poor operational performance and huge cost per coin. They only get this based on name recognition having been on Nasdaq the longest. Thanks for mathematically proving it.

@BTCStocksInvest Table has one huge flaw. $IREN are fully funded to 30 EH and almost completely done their ATM to 40 EH. Most if not all other miners have huge dilution ahead. You also neglect to mention $IREN was only miner to meet 2023 EH goals so probably most likely to meet 2024 goals.

@theBTCMiningGuy CLSK has a better management team They continue to make correct decisions like selling at Market highs and buying their own facilities. While Mara waited to Market bottom and chose asset light instead of owning. CLSK always delivers on their promises in a timely manner.

So sad. About a month ago I told some teenage athletes I coach I would take them for ice cream when $IREN hit $15. It surprised me and went to $14.95 a couple of weeks ago. It went down to $11. Today back to $14.95 and down. Should I cancel the bet to remove the barrier?

Short term the $IREN short report sucks but long term we are only back to a price level we were at on June 28th (2 weeks ago). Long-term probably an incredible buying opportunity. Culper shorted CLSK in 2021 before they went from $2 to $22 so I'll take my chances.

@jimcramer Funny how Nikola proven a fraud took down the entire spac market making investors fear all spacs were frauds. Yet Nikola ($22.50) has a higher stock price than all current or recent spacs. That seems fair guilt by association Hyliion ($22.10) is one of many innocent victims.

@JordanWike55 @fgthiel It's not like $MARA shareholders didn't have warnings. They went through all of 2022 failing to meet Management performance goals. Since then the 2022 year end of 23.3 EH has only been mined 1 month of 15. Missing mining goals 26 of 27 months was a warning. $CLSK delivers.

@theBTCMiningGuy I believe many people who own $CLSK have now bought $IREN. So picking a favorite stock is like picking a favorite child and can vary weekly on a recency bias. Most $MARA pigs can not read and just follow to the slaughter.

@BTCStocksInvest $IREN ran long before $CORZ news was announced. Their spike was completely related to their large revised 2024 growth plans. I don't think AI / HPC is at all priced in. Their growth is similar to what $CLSK experienced earlier this year with similar growth.

So hodl wasn't factor in my decision to buy either. I prefer $CLSK strategy with the hodl but realize $IREN is about a year behind on growth plans.

@Crypto2Stocks $CLSK is down some from it's $24 high but I'm holding. I'd put my $IREN performance over the last couple weeks against what BTC has delivered in that period so glad I didn't jump out. Most miners haven't performed well in 2024 so I'm confident they will run when Bitcoin does.

@DecryptSam I don't own $CORZ so don't have a dog in the fight. They have mined more Bitcoin than any other miner in 2021, 2022, 2023 and so far in 2024. They have some issues coming out of bankruptcy but sell at 10% marketcap of $MARA. Their mining efficiency is very much better than $MARA.

@divyamkaushi Sure everyone wanted $BITF if they could get it at a steal of a cost. Interest drying up I'm sure as stock price goes up. I agree with Mike Alfred and doubt the company is sold and higher stock price goes less chance of that occuring.

@MusicalxMadn909 $MARA has 1.5 billion ATM open. Which is almost double $CLSK 800 miilion ATM. Major difference is $CLSK is using the ATM for expansion while $MARA is using its to pay for loses as they have the most expensive cost per coin mined and are losing millions at current Bitcoin price.

@Charge_Stack (I) don't like current operational performance of both $MARA and $RIOT and believe you are paying a premium price for both already simply based on name recognition based on them being on the Nasdaq a couple of years longer than other more efficient miners.

Differs greatly from current prices where name recognition seems more important than the fundamentals. Sooner or later I believe fundamentals will prevail.

With their huge cost per coin they usually use ATM to pay losses while efficient miners use ATM for expansion.

@pred3500 @CleanSpark_Inc $CLSK sold all of their Bitcoin that they accumulated in last bull market near market highs. Compare this to $MARA who bought 5000 coins at $32,000 per coin and then sold half of them at $16,000 a coin to mark the bottom of last bear cycle. I know which miner I want to invest in.

@theBTCMiningGuy I believe many people who own $CLSK have now bought $IREN. So picking a favorite stock is like picking a favorite child and can vary weekly on a recency bias. Most $MARA pigs can read and just follow to the slaughter.

@Charge_Stack If deal wasn't done and agreed too this price jump could kill it. No way $CLSK changes offer for a company on verge of bankruptcy. Nice profit but very smart to get out as could drop as fast as it went up.

Can anyone explain $MARA mining performance. They are amazing mining 10 blocks in 24 hours but in the following 24 hours they have mined 0 according to the Mempool data. It's like some kid is constantly playing with the on and off switch. Why the curtailment before halving?
