New Year's Eve, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. He quickly had several large tumors removed and has been receiving numerous treatments since. Just got the phone call saying after yesterday's tests, the doctor is confident he is now cancer free. Wonderful news.

I think the single field work part of the job I'll miss the most is daily dirt work. Happy to end 2023 with only 15 tarp pulls on the year, and only 1.5 bags of calcined used on the field this year where the tarp leaked on home plate. And happy for a sunny last day.
