I really thought I’d hate the Snyder Cut. I didn’t...love it...but I was thoroughly surprised at how much better it was than the original release. The increased focus on Cyborg paid off, it was less weird with its treatment of Lois and Diana, and I am a total sucker for Darkseid.

Here’s my hypothesis: The webcomics boom of the early-to-mid 2000s ended because the demise of RSS, and the move from LiveJournal/Xanga/Blogger to Facebook and Twitter, made it harder to reach audiences. Now, you get more one-offs, designed to go viral on social media/Reddit.
