Over the years there have been a lot of unkind comments about my closest chum, Tim Shaw.
Let it be known that I have his back.
He’s a great guy and doesn’t deserve the negativity directed towards him.
Ant and Dec = Mates
Tim and Fuzz = Mates, only taller.
I have your back, Timmy!
The news you’ve all been waiting for… brand new Car S.O.S returns to the
@NatGeoUK
channel next month, Thursday 11th of March!
I’m really excited for you to see the special “Missing Episode” which features the actual Lombard British Rally winning MG Metro 6R4.
SOS: Real, full restorations?
Yes, from basket case to beautiful.
Any other UK based shows doing this?
Not that I know of.
Is that the magic?
Nope. It’s the people involved’s stories and personal journeys.
Is the workshop a real restoration shop.
Yep, owned by the presenters.
Another string to my bow. I only popped in for a CBT course!
Two weeks later, via intensive training with Ade Rose and the team at ‘BRT4CBT’, Nuneaton and I’ve passed my full bike test.
Now the learning begins.
Merry Christmas, you lovely people. I hope that it’s a beautiful time for you, or at least bittersweet. But for those who are struggling, I hope that the light at the end of the tunnel is closer than you think. X
Oh come on, ffs!
Somebody commission my chums and I to make some TV shows about buses, routes, their history, buildings and the wonderful people involved.
If I look tired at the beginning of this episode, I had literally come straight from the birthing unit at Warwick hospital, following the birth of our daughter, Pixie, that very morning.
Imagine my delight this evening when Karen pitched in with gluing down trees and ground scatter, her first foray into railway modelling.
Apparently it’s like Sylvanian Families, but on a smaller scale and the people aren’t hedgehogs. Transport links are better too.

I hope that you enjoyed the Mk1 Escort Mexico, this evening.
Having learned to drive in my late foster dad's, 1300L, originally fitted with Dunlop Denovos (he was a training manager at Fort Dunlop), I have a soft spot for these, even if they don't seem that old 😀
Very well done Oscar Townshend!
AAA and an acceptance from LSE!
You worked so very hard for it at Concord College, but it was worth it.
Therefore, I lose another of my babies to London.
Two academically gifted young people setting out in the world.
I'm as proud as Punch. X
I despise trolls; social media, email, text, etc.
Be courageous, and expose them for the absolute low-life scum that they are.
I’m hearing of far too many folks affected by this.
You’re strong! X
Come on, folks.
Series 7 starts tonight.
SOSage's survival relies on fans watching, as ever, so we hope that you turn on, tune in and enjoy our terrific TR4 odyssey. 👍🏽
I’m very sorry, but I won’t be able to post live during this week’s Car SOS Series 8 Premiere.
However, I hope that you enjoy watching the resurrection of one of the most compromised cars that I’ve ever seen restored.

Watching Duran Duran on BBC4 tonight.
What a great bunch of guys.
I met them on my first Top of the Pops performance and they were great.
Now they're beautiful and brilliant .x
I really do hope that you enjoy the second part of our Car SOS specials, groovers. 🕺🏿
Normal SOSage service will be resumed next week, with Episode 1 of Series 7. 😉
Just catching up with all the past weeks tweets... The Integrale was an emotional journey, which I'm glad to see many of you shared through the episode. RIP Gary x
Thanks to all of you who've offered their support this year, whether it be for Car SOS, bands or personally.
It's much appreciated.
I hope that you all have an amazing Christmas and that your new year brings you good...
The last car from Car SOS, Series 7 has left the building, so we now have time to attend to your cars.
Remember, we are the only real, UK-based, TV garage to which you can bring your cars to be worked on by the same...
At Trailways, Walsall, underneath my 33ft long, 1969 Daimler Fleetline, we commence lifting the rear axle back into its rightful place. We can’t let these guys retire. Trailways is too valuable to restorers of big stuff.
Great to see advice being given for those in receipt of online trolling attacks to block trolls.
Don’t give them oxygen.
Block ‘em.

I hope that you enjoyed this episode featuring first Rolls Royce the Car SOS team dared to take on. Who knows what we’ll get to work on next!
Car SOS is an original
@NatGeoUK
production, so to watch it ‘box fresh’ watch it there.
Heading out to play for The Beat, in Caerphilly today.
The only vehicle available for the journey is the Jensen 541R, so it'll be getting another airing.
We have a vacancy for a highly skilled panel beater-welder-fabricator.
You will be expected to fabricate your own hand made repair panels.
Your welding must be excellent.

It's brilliant when we can bring a bit of happiness to such deserving owners. All credit goes to the family's involved, and the team working hard behind the scenes to make it happen x

Thank you, Roger, for everything.
You taught me how to sequence using your computer and how to sample using your Akai S900.
You brought me together with some of the most...
On this date 40 years ago, I played my first college gig, at Sutton College, aged 14, just four days before my lovely foster dad, Henry Knott, died.
He was keen to see me develop my passion, even putting up with band...
If I've got any BAFTA member mates out there please vote for Car SOS in this years awards, it's in the features section . We are the underdog so need all the help we can get . Voting closes next week so don't hang about.
Righto all. Thanks for watching Car SOS on
@NatGeoUK
and for joining me on here. There are more brand new episodes of
#CarSOS
series 9 to come, Thursdays, 8pm
@NatGeoUK
Hmm...An amount of people have been vocal about the Specials, but I haven't done a head count.
What I do know is that the consolidated viewing figures were extremely high for a Nat Geo show.
What I also know is that...
Thanks for watching! Next week, you get two episodes of Car SOS!
Monday 5th March, Series 5 episode Episode 9 on More4.
Thursday 8th March, Series 6 Episode 1 on National Geographic.
Can't say we don't treat you well 😉🚗
Do you think that the internal combustion engine is dead?
I'm not so sure.
Electric power should rule for commercial vehicles (trolleybuses, trolleytrucks), but a rapid clean-up could be achieved by adding hydrogen...
Car restoration rock-stars.
I work with some.
I've worked with some.
I need more.
Right now.
Let's form the best car restoration band, ever.
A call on Monday 30th April or Tuesday 1st May may start the ball rolling.
No wa£&ers need apply. 👍🏽
Remember, folks, that tonight we have the first of two 'Special' CarSOS episodes for you.
They're different to your normal SOSage, but we hope that you'll find them a delight.
Your 'normal' 10 episodes of Car SOS...
