So tried one of these ‘pharmacy clinics’, turns out it’s a waste of time/$. I have a persistent sore throat but they wanted to charge me $50 for a strep test which is free at the doctor (who I’ll see on Tues). Alberta Health now paying for 2 appts instead of 1. #ableg #abpoli

Team Nenshi just put #TBA to shame. With all their organizing and sometimes shady tactics TBA secured Smith 34k votes on the first UCP ballot and 42k on the last. Nenshi received 62k votes on the first ballot. Hopefully this puts to rest the myth of TBAs effectiveness. #ableg

@dubsndoo So instead of paying capital gains on $450,000 he’ll pay it on $558,000. Federal tax will be $153000 instead of $125000. That will be $28k in addl federal taxes or 3% of his profit. If the plot is big enough to subdivide and sell in subsequent years he could avoid it.

Alberta wants its per capita share of federal tax dollars…and we will ensure those dollars are spent on actual Alberta first priorities…not virtue signalling waste. Hope to see other provinces join Alberta in this effort to make the Constitution matter again.
