"do y'all sit on your father's lap like that?" no we don't. they never meant to have a healthy father/daughter relationship. silco and jinx both have abandonment issues and they have no concept of boundaries. it was made to purely make us uncomfortable.
vi only knew powder, and silco only knew jinx. ekko was the one who knows both of them—seeing her transformation firsthand. he'd be the first one to accept that both powder and jinx are the same person, and he has to deal with that ever since
silco told her TWICE that shes his daughter from what i can remember, along with other characters. their relationship is purely just the opposite of vi and vander's. but do y'all ship them? no!
notes:
- some of these were discovered from other posts (from tumblr or from here), so i'd like to give them credit for helping us find these!
- feel free to dm me if you find more!
arcane writers really had ekko and jinx stare at each other for 5 secs to conclude that they could be in love, maybe we're not as delusional as we thought
can't wait for the dudebros going "yOu jUst liKe Batman nOw tHat He's hOt!!" and to that i say: yes, you're absolutely right. what are you gonna do about it
people excited about the sandman season 2 please PLEASE WATCH DEAD BOY DETECTIVES WHILE YOU WAIT. IT'S SUCH A GOOD ADDITION TO THE UNIVERSE. IT'S FUN IN GENERAL AND YOU WON'T REGRET IT
i love how ekko used the "i had a crush (before you started talking to the gun)" line as if it's a good taunt against jinx like... what does that prove??? u just told her you liked her genius
"ekko's down bad for jinx" i say into the mic.
the crowd boos. i begin to walk off in shame, when a voice speaks and commands silence from the room.
"she's right." he says. i look for the owner of the voice and there he is: reed shannon himself
