Can't believe that Steve has gone. A terrible shock. Radio can be such a special friend in the hands of a kind, funny, empathetic broadcaster who knows his art. Steve was such a person. Always kind to me when I worked at R2. Deep condolences to his family. Rest in peace Steve x

When we were young. I feel so lucky to have been a tiny part of the fun which was WUTW. On the 8th anniversary of losing Sir Terry Wogan… Deadly, Boggy and I remember absent friends. May Terry, Pauly and Dukey rest in peace. There'll be mirth in heaven! x

I made my bed neatly, as you do. Put fleecy throw on top in case Barney jumped up on bed. He did. The fleecy throw ruse didn’t work. With training, he could get a job turning down beds in an hotel. Might destroy the mint choc on the pillow though.🙄

A pair of haircuts. Mine took 40 minutes. Barney’s took 2 hours. He's got more hair, I guess. It rained relentlessly. I carried him under my umbrella back to the car. Of course I did.

After initial wariness and fearsome barking, Barney discovered that the 'intruder' in the garden was a foil balloon which had escaped from somewhere. He then made short work of it. The balloon was slightly deflated and ❤️-shaped. That dog has no sense of romance.

Finally got round to posting pics of garden wall. First is original wall with hanging baskets. Then Bro Nick at work… with some cladding in place. Then completed cladding. It’s still up… not blown nor washed away by storms. Yet.

My younger brother spent 11 hrs in The Queue yesterday. After listening to his experience,I want to pay tribute to the police, St John's Ambulance, security people, marshals, volunteers & all who helped manage so well such a massive operation. Thank you👏👏
