In 2014 I had prepared & submitted the 1st Fatigue Risk Management System manual & proposal for @AirAsiaIndia , only to be rejected by @DGCAIndia saying it’s too futuristic. Leave alone airlines, there is no guidelines for Flight Schools Trainers on how much they can fly in a day

When you become the biggest, then expectations also go high. Fares are not drastically lower than @airvistara @airindiain that @IndiGo6E does not opt for aerobridges. It's mostly a requirement of overnight parking,so a remote stand is chosen rather than towing. @MoCA_GoI @ridhimb

When @icao wants @DGCAIndia Licensing head to be one of Pilot/ATCO/Airworthiness then if the incumbent is neither, they should qualify. Least give the exams and repeat every 3 yrs. @MoCA_GoI @SafetyMatters6 Qualified & Competent is a must for both rule maker & follower.

Most pilots select 7000 instead of 2600 in the ALT window as the go-around altitude for the A320; however, the aircraft does not follow ALT constraints on a Go-Around phase since there are no predictions on the FMS. 1/2

GoFirst has applied for #Insolvency & not #bankruptcy . If @DGCAIndia does not enforce the 6month notice period for pilots leaving, let it be taken as a case for withdrawal of the notice period Regulation,if an employee is not paid or cancel the CAR. @MoCA_GoI @SafetyMatters6

Pilot reports fatigue on a multiple landing pattern. Airlines does noting. Next time Pilot reports fatigue before flight. Airlines sacks the pilot. @DGCAIndia verdict. Crime never happened. Pilot didn’t operate under fatigue nor did Airline make him operate. Penal action??

Aircraft registration markings, V stands for Victoria. All commonwealth countries were instructed to prefix letter ‘V’ to commemorate the death of the Queen. India was using ‘ G’ prior. What a shame, India is the only one who has retained. @PMOIndia @JM_Scindia @MoCA_GoI

A study found that pilots working short-haul flights with fewer duty hours than legally allowed experience high fatigue, sleep problems, and significant mental health issues. Time to step up the momentum. Next court hearing on #FDTL in August.

#FEDEX runway excursion at #Mumbai 3Jun20 is an example of how tailwinds & wet runway increase the risk of excursion,70%of all excursions.If one adds lower flap setting the risk is even higher. Pilots need to be mindful of this fact. @DGCAIndia @MoCA_GoI

Noticed some glaring flaws in #Sully movie by #clinteastwood @Captsully @tomhanks . When the gear selected UP after takeoff,Parking Brake is still set(Accu pr 2000psi) the Eng VIB is in excess of 3.6 Units, Horizon level. Next time good idea 2 hire me as a technical consultant 😇
