Great news for pregnant women and their partners after NHS tells hospitals and maternity services they must allow partners at scans and at all stages of labour. My story in

We have now set up a donation fund for research that will hopefully prevent other families experiencing the same pain.
(DM if you want to donate from outside the UK as we’ve got a much more efficient way of doing so with TransferWise) ❤️💞

Sadly, just over a week ago we lost our twin boys
Teddy came and went from this world quickly and quietly. He passed peacefully. Our younger twin, Rafe, was not born until Tuesday 23, but died later that day in NeoNatal ICU.
Baby loss, and coping with grief, is very hard 1/
*STILL MISSING* Good morning, we still haven’t found her so if you can keep sharing it will help. Please share on Nextdoor, and in facebook and WhatsApp groups.
We are calling the local council teams and vets in the area as soon as they open.
HELP NEEDED: This is Zola. She belongs to
@floetry
and she went missing from Haggerston Park at about 20:30 today. She’s a fox red Labrador in a green textile collar who usually lives in SE/N1 London. Please message me or Flora if you see her, we’d really like her home safely. RT
Well that was fun!
Merci beaucoup, Monsieur le Président

Last month I was delighted to be elected as
@toryreformgroup
National Chairman. I’m so pleased to take on this role in our 45th year, an exciting time for the group.
When you lose someone or something you love the love has to go somewhere.
We’re lucky to have this gorgeous bean with us, though Alf somewhat disagrees.
Happy Christmas and see you

As one of the 2 million added to the high risk list last week (shielders) I jumped at the chance to take my vaccine. Thank you to the amazing team at the, very aptly named, Newcastle Centre for Life vaccination centre 💖
This is absolutely terrifying for all of us who value bodily autonomy. There is no reason to attack the gillick competence and clear sign of a fundamental understanding of young people and their rights.

He also ranges more widely on the issue of competing rights for the first time

Having someone with you is so important in pregnancy, it is so overwhelming and dangerous. It would make all the difference for families experiencing baby loss. 💖
It is imperative for the mental & physical health of pregnant women that they can attend appointments & endure early Labour with a partner. So we are over the moon to see our campaigning on the front page of the Mail on Sunday. Thanku

for all your work & support
This is a very kind thing to do so I will also offer up a tea or something stronger to chat about the opportunities from life after SpAd-hood, my DMs are open if you don’t have my number 💕☕️🍷
Big shout out to any SpAds who read my tweets today. As I know all too well reshuffle day, whilst exciting for some, is hard for you. If anyone needs to chat afterwards always happy to do so. I am always grateful to those who did that for me.
Some of you know I recently left
@Wise
after more than five years. Well… There’s an amazing role going there in my old team (who are incredible). It’s a great opportunity so take a look:
@jen725
I get what you’re saying but for me I’ve had to stop and take a break whilst on most walks as I’m not on top form. I don’t want to miss my exercise but this is during steady paced 30-45 minute walks.... I always sanitise and don’t touch except my clothed body. S’about proportion
And we are OFF! The

summer party has started already! Huge thanks to all of our MP patrons and guest speakers - as well as our members!

They are wrong about what LGBT+ history month means in the UK and very wrong on this issue generally. We still have so much more to do for LGBT+ people and in general to deliver a truly equal and inclusive UK.
🎉 Woohoo! I am on this year’s

😍 Tomorrow morning I'm speed mentoring with loads of awesome female leaders in public affairs. Can't wait to meet all of the up and coming young women! This is going to be fun. Thanks
@WomenInPA
for organising.

Hard disagree with Tom. It’s incredible architecture and such a wonderful space. One day come and enjoy the gardens or look around a flat and you’ll start to fall for it. Regardless of the beauty it’s also an exceptional example of brutalism.
Yay! I’m getting my booster jab on Wednesday. So glad to be able to book it myself now with the latest change. Much less worrying and only 4 days before I’m officially due so right on time…. 💉💉💥
💞 I support diversity & inclusion within the Conservative Party.
This is why I’m v excited about the Conservative Diversity Project (

Day two points:
- pls check in on friends and family:
- give thanks to those who got you through tough times. Not sure we would have survived trauma 2 years ago without this lovely lady ❤️🐕👍

This is one of the things that is missed from all this! If you operate in international environments / with people with non trad names from your area it’s super inclusive too. 💕
What’s particularly amazing (and not many people realise about
@Wise
) is how we’ve rewritten what it is to be a company. We have the values of working at a non-profit, with the intellectual stimulation of an MBA at Oxford, with the drive of a fast growing technology company. 🐫
Another great

board meeting, helpful wash up of our

Hard cases make bad law. Safeguarding should protect those at risk, you are using an edge case to justify an illogical position.

So, pick when you read it wisely or you’ll end up like me on 4 hours sleep-having read half the book in one sitting...😍
As you will understand this is something I’m deeply passionate about. Yes there is legal change needed. We also need greater information about current rights to clinicians and expecting parents, and enforcement where there is discrimination.

The nighttime economy is one of the key pillars of London’s greatness, so to see this little action PLUS an inflation busting pay rise, it’s just an abomination.
