With Coding classes, Touch typing, Creative Writing, Music for Tots, Community Meetings, Storytelling, Language Conversation Groups, and jam packed computer pods and study desks, with the 3d printer on the go in the background; all in one week's schedule; very relevant!
So our newest Fingal Mobile Library is fully stocked and all set to make its maiden voyage!😃 We've had a very exciting few days getting the new Mobile Library ready and it has now set off on its first journey through Fingal. Pop in and say hello! 😎
Public libraries are accepting and supportive of all individuals. We are taking this opportunity today to listen and to learn. The following books are available to borrow from Borrow Box.
On this day in 1930 the 'Southern Cross' took off from Portmarnock beach; 30 hours later it landed in Newfoundland; it was the 2nd ever east-west crossing of the Atlantic; 10,000 people watched the take-off, many on the hill of Howth.
Guess what has just arrived in Fingal Libraries? Our brand new Mobile Library! We are in the process of stocking it with new books and hope to have it out on the road in the next few days! Exciting times!😀😍😎
I said earlier that our new mobile library would brighten up the day. How right we were! The new van looks fantastic in the Oldtown sun.
