Next weekend! Some of our organizers will be marshaling this ride that raises awareness for the Gaza Sunbirds, a paracycling team that was founded in 2018 when Alaa al-Dali, an Olympic hopeful cyclist, was shot in the leg by an Israeli sniper during the March of Return protests.

We had our first unsafe situation happen with a driver on our last ride. Everyone is ok, but our lead organizers are working on some ways to try to increase safety measures on our rides. 1. We will have all our marshals go through medical training in case of emergencies.

Official route drop! Join us 8 miles (mostly trail) to the IL Tech Farmer’s Market (conveniently off the green line!), 15 miles to another out at Ashland/63rd Green Line near Ogden Park, or 23 miles to Rainbow Beach, completing the loop!!!
