Innalillahi wa inna ilaihir rajiun! Mus’ab wasn’t killed in all the time he spent in India till he came back to his country Nigeria and in his state Kano.
We read about Police brutality everyday but continue with our lives because we think it doesn’t affect us.
#JusticeforMusab
I like how you went from ‘us’ to ‘they’ and ended with ‘hypocrites’ meaning that you somehow do not belong to any of this and every other Hausa woman does,
after you so clearly provided a detailed explanation of what goes on in your inner circle and YOUR life experiences.
You’re a Muslim and they call you a hypocrite for not publicly declaring your sins, let them have it. You know where your religion stands on this.
We’ll continue striving to do better In shaa Allah.
The face of the latest ‘Award-winning environmentalist’ Not my words but I’ll take it 😅
Thank you
@NGYouthSDGs
@oxfaminnigeria
for this recognition.
@RoseKeffas_G
presented my award to me, made it extra special 🎊
Do you have friends that are not Muslim but never fail to remind you it’s time for prayer? and go out of their way to help you locate a clean space to pray? and tell people you don’t shake hands with men?
Well I do and today is his birthday
@AsiwajuDosunmu
🥳🎊🎉
Earlier today, I joined the Across Atlantic team to present the Hon. Minister of Environment
@MohdHAbdullahi
with an award as STEM Ambassador.
This is in recognition of the outstanding role he has been playing in promoting

esp. among young female students.

Kano state please preserve your ancient walls, they are wasting away right before your eyes, history is being erased and the necessary people don’t seem to care.
These walls have been described as ‘The Most Impressive Monument in West Africa’ fgs 😭
Abeg if you see me going out of line or doing something harmful / self destructive please sit me down and say it like it is. Don’t give me any bullshit love and light.
The truth can literally save someone’s life but everyone is too busy being pretentious.
The youths are a critical component in advancing the Great Green Wall Initiative in Africa.

Those men that kidnapped and killed that little boy in Kd, the way the guy was answering the person interrogating him, you can already tell it’s not their first time. Ba Allah a ransu.
Mus’ab Sammani was a bright promising young guy killed by the police

over a squabble with a keke napep driver.
I hate the way this country operates. My heart is so heavy right now. It’s things like this that makes me want to seize to exist completely

We’re on the front page of the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel magazine 🤩 Thank you so much for giving us this platform
@ggwnigeria
How can I argue with someone than thinks every Northerner is Hausa? I came here to be fully entertained please, and the money I used to buy this data is worth it 😩🙌🏾
If it boils down to this lockdown please share food with your less privileged neighbours. We are so privileged to be able to stock up on food.
Sensitize your neighbors, share masks. Let’s do the little we can.
A popular IG person took off her head scarf and I’m reading comments like ‘Proud of you’ ‘Beautiful’ ‘Authentic’ from fellow Muslim women, wow!
It’s her choice I know that, but must we lie? This generation actually scares me every now and then.
Did you know that coastal wetlands sequester and store carbon up to 55 times faster than tropical rain forests?
Wetlands are a natural solution to the global threat of climate change. They absorb CO2, help slow global heating and reduce pollution.

I get asked a lot of questions about attending conferences and events, but when I share flyers to cleanups and campaigns only a few dedicated people show up.
Are international conferences supposed to be the destination or end goal?
It was an absolute honor & pleasure to represent Nigeria at

We took this opportunity to visit the Nigeria house at Kigali and met with the Nigerian High Commisioner to Rwanda, Ambassador Aishatu Aliyu Musa.

This culture of oppression has some people ashamed of their humble beginnings and literally hiding anything that makes them slightly associated with having those beginnings.
Fatima Aliyu Magaji is an environmentalist and climate champion. She is the founder of the environmental initiative, FAM4FUTURE. Through this platform, she consistently leverages collaborations and partnerships with other youth-led organisations to champion
We met our Hon. Minister of Youth and Sports Development

at the 5th Commonwealth Youth Ministerial Taskforce Meeting yesterday in Kigali.
Nigeria pledged to host the Secretariat for the Commonwealth Youth Council, the first of its kind in the history of the CYC 🎊
Nigerians I urge you to stop posting fake stories and things you can’t verify. You’re causing unrest. APC this PDP that. Just go and vote who you want that’s all.

My grandfather bought this teapot for my mother many many years ago, before I was even born. Found it at my aunt’s place last year along with some of our grandmothers old things. We’re going to split them among my sisters and I and keep them in our homes In shaa Allah ❤️
We concluded our last module

with a four-day residential programme on project management. We learned everything from project design & planning, writing proposals & concept notes, identifying risks, monitoring & evaluation, etc
‘Bleaching cream, Postinor, community vagina, kayan mata, LV and Prada, Mercedes, Oud perfumes. You need to see them abroad’
This is all too detailed for someone who isn’t among the ‘they’ 😭
The first thing you need to know about making homemade hummus is that you should quickly discard those thoughts, pick up your keys, or get in a cab, go to CityView and buy.

I’m not going to sign this petition because everyone is doing so without knowing enough about it. There are so many examples around the world for us to look at.
Please everyone out of respect for Mus’ab’s family in this difficult time stop sharing pictures of his corpse. Let this family get through one thing at a time I beg you.
I know you have the best intentions but please it’s enough.

Biodiversity loss &

Another shocking thing for me was seeing that even the bread in Rwanda is not packaged in plastic.
I was told that they take cleaning their environment as a community responsibility. Everyone is responsible for it!
I see people calling Ahmad tea ‘trash’ and so on but mehn if you’ve had a number of teas in this life you will learn to understand that those guys have mastered fruit black tea.
Note: I didn’t write just fruit tea.
Fruit ‘black’ tea.
All these expensive brands taste so flat.
