Burt Reynolds was also one of the best storytellers I've ever met--right up there with Derek Sanderson--and he had a deep love for his son. But most of all, Burt was humble. No star bullshit with him. Just gratitude. I'm very sad to hear of his passing. P

My wife was heading out to the market to buy celery. I said, instead of a virus, imagine that Covid19 is a psycho killer. 29 out of 30 people who cross paths w him get beat so badly that they’re in bed or in a hospital for 2 weeks. 1 out of 30 he kills. Do you really need celery?
