@MdSheryl I did my best to help homeless teens. In 18 years our program served 25,000 different residents in FL. Your story brightened my day. Our great success was helping a young man get a full ride to Tulane. He was thrown away by his family because he was gay. Brilliant young man.

MRI results came back. Indeterminate. Good news is that they did not show an area of prostate cancer. The bad news is that it can’t rule it out 100%. Presume biopsy next but I have not had a call from the Doctor. (Cindy went online and got my results for me). Best wishes to all

Sigh. Cindy’s kidney cancer surgery is Wednesday. Tomorrow she said she will make a list of patients I need to refund if she dies. Lugubrious. The poor dear is suffering despite all my encouragement.

Cindy had a significant cancer spot on the side of her nose. Removed followed by a month of a cream (almost like topical chemo) that made her nose red and raw. Doctor today said so far, so good. We go back September 16 for another checkup. But it looks like surgery is averted.

No updates on my aunt. She is at death’s door. My cousin is with her and he keeps me informed by text. She is 101 and my Dad 103. They looked after each other at ages 11 and 9 when their mother died 7/1/32. My son was also close to her.

I took Dad (age 102) for skin cancer surgery on his right ear on Monday. They had to cut quite a bit. Then Monday night into Tuesday he bled profusely and had to go to the ER. He was discharged Tuesday morning but is really having a hard time. We go to see the surgeon Monday.

Brought Dad home to live with us. He had to get up to pee every 1-2 hours due to his 100 year old prostate. I slept in a recliner near his bed just so he was safe. It’s almost like having a newborn because he’s so helpless. I’m so glad he is with us.
