tip: have a spectrogram open when doing sound design and try to make sounds that not only sound pleasing but also look pleasing. now that you are being guided by something completely different than sound itself, you'll find sounds you would've never landed on otherwise

I've built a rack that turns vocaloid vocals into realistic screams. You can adjust the ratio between yelled vocals to proper vocal fry + more expression control. It's pretty neat. You'll get to hear this on the album.

not sure how ableton manages to have both the worst phaser and flanger on the line. the phaser is hilariously broken as it just throws a quiet dry version of the sound in the right ear for no reason. flanger cant even go to 0 ms and the locked inv feedback smudges all your peaks
