I’m an Xennial raised by 1960s pro-black revolutionaries who were raised by anti-black light skinned coloreds who raised me in pro-black glory while preferring to own homes in predom white neighborhoods and worshiping in predom white churches - I love white ppl like I love black
To all you white teachers who don’t believe in grammar, etc. Your students will sit in my classroom in college and have to write reports the “white supremacist way.” I will not use a separate rubric for their dialect.
Juneteenth has nothing to do with Africa. Juneteenth has nothing to do with Africa. Juneteenth has nothing to do with Africa. Juneteenth has nothing to do with Africa. Juneteenth has nothing to do with Africa. Juneteenth has nothing to do with Africa.
@KikiBurner
And that’s my problem. You need to know grammar before you get to my class in college. I can’t teAch basic grammar on top of what im
@supposed
to me teaching. I had strong grammar instruction at home and k12. That should me standard
"Despite being a Democrat, despite being a liberal who believes in human rights, I don't think that children should be able to get these irreversible surgeries."
- NH State Rep. Jonah Wheeler (D)
White saviorism is white supremacy. If you have to be the center of a movement. That’s white supremacy. If you have to believe the ppl are beneath you. That’s white supremacy. White supremacy can smile and give hugs.
Kid says “I want a black teacher.” Gets a black teacher who is horrible at classroom mgmt. his fav teacher is a white male. Y’all stop judging teacher-student fit by race alone.
2k likes and 200 followers from 1 tweet. Reminder - I don’t hate teachers. I don’t hate white people. I don’t hate black people. I love subject-verb agreement.
@JessupShannon
Yeah I used to feel like that about not celebrating the baby. But I realized it was very hypocritical considering I’d beat my chest claiming I’m pro life. And yes as a parent i will absolutely raise my kids’ oops baby. I know 2 girls who grad w/ me in college. Babies back home
I’m not against DEI. I’m against that HOT
Garbage y’all call DEI. I’m against imposing your will on others. I’m against gatekeeping. I’m against you only hiring black talent for DEI roles. I’m
against White LGBTQ equating their
struggle to that of my ancestors
I’m pro-black. I don’t hate myself. Don’t hate people who look like me. That’s confusing to you because you think my pro-black is predicated on being anti-white. No. My black is nothing in relation to anything white. Nothing. Get over yourself.
1894, Pittsburgh. My great grandmother was 19 and took out this ad begging for someone to teach her the dressmaking trade. She was a dressmaker until she died in 1910.
The look you give when Carmel PD pulls your husband over while he’s driving your car with expired tags cause he forgot to put the new one on. Officer told my husband to go home and put my new plate on. 😂
I’m failing to understand why some of you don’t see capitalism as the path to liberation? If not for capitalism my tree would be as broke as they were when they walked off the plantation.
How much longer are we going to allow Joy Reid to play in our faces. She is not an American Descendant of Slavery. Don’t watch her and let her conjure up your rage while she basks in the fruit of her spoils
Y’all I got 100 new followers on that tweet about grammar and white teachers 🤦🏾♀️😂Just to be clear: I don’t hate white people. I don’t hate black people. I don’t hate teachers.
So I was today years old when I learned Brahmins are over here in the US being the women of color face of black girl narratives and making a killing in DEI.
I’m not a white woman, so I don’t know this for sure. But if I were a white mom with a black baby daddy - I’d be pissed about my kids not claiming their whiteness.
Im pro-black. My pro black doesn’t mean anti-white or anyone else. Why are you centering yourself in my pro-black. Go get your own pro something. As long as you keep it about your thing and not about being anti-something else - go do you.
Grandma on the left would make chitlins. I’d ask mom to drop me off at the grandma on the right’s house cause she didn’t cook them. I asked her once if she’d ever had them and she responded with her perfect diction: “no, I’ve never eaten chit-er-lings”. She was the poor one 😂
My daughter screaming at the track meet “beat the white guy”. My child doesn’t know racial constructs - she was talking about the white uniform. Still embarrassing
I am Black and I don’t need reparations for slavery because I have never been a slave and no White person has ever owned me.
Democrats should stop painting my skin as some sort of disability!
Black Skin is NOT Disability.
If your Black History Month unit is about slavery, you’re doing it WRONG. If your BHM is about Stacey Abrams, you’re doing it WRONG. If your BHM is about Michael Jackson/Jordan. WRONG AND LAZY. And I’m coming for you.
My kids’ bookshelves are filled with books written by their cousins about little Black children that don’t involve slavery, protests, racism and police ’s cool you read diverse books- make sure the books about Black kids aren’t always about trauma.
She shoveled the snow back on to the sidewalk because 2 black brothers shoveled it and proceeded to call the police on them.
Even their kindness is a crime.
The delusion of white people I cannot. WOW
Black-Asian animosity is class driven. I’ve always enjoyed community with Asian folk in upper middle class suburbia. MY WHOLE LIFE. I’m over 40! Y’all trippin
Why do you assume white supremacist refers to all white people. White supremacists are white supremacists. White people are white people. Got it? Unless…
Pittsburgh’s Black-owned cab company owned by my cousin’s grandpa. My grandpa was his mechanic. Yellow-cab wouldn’t serve Black neighborhoods.

When I “got saved” at 26 in a fundie Baptist church I really wanted to be married but was sad my wedding couldn’t have dancing and only lemonade to drink. I loved Jesus but I couldn’t deny the BC me who loved to dance. Liberty is a beautiful thing
I vote for racists all the time. That’s not a reason not to vote for someone if you’re going to vote. What will your policies do for my pocketbook, my childrens’ education, property value and overall quality of living? 🧐🤨
I take great pride in my student successes - regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, so - I want to seem them all thrive and come back to tell me all about it. If you need training to feel this way about everyone, you’re psychotic.
The same thing is happening on my campus and I truly don’t understand it. Black undergrads having cookouts, potlucks, beach days etc while one of the biggest student movements in 40 years is taking place. Nowhere to be found. It’s perplexing and incredibly disappointing.
I teach my kids the age-appropriate dichotomy of things are better, but we’re not there yet. I model racial reconciliation for my children - if you want to dismantle that in my home, I will “check” you.
Student approached me today: “I very much enjoyed your class and learned a lot about grammar my English teachers never taught me.” 🤡FYI - I don’t teach English. 🤡
Get you the kind of white friends that don’t always expect you to be the only black person at the party - they should be willing to go with you to the black stuff and be the only white person (yes before you chime in with ignorance college campuses still have segregated parties
