Check this out. If you set your planetarium (I’m using @FifthStarLabs SkyGuide) to France, June 22nd 1889 around 3am you’ll see what Van Gogh saw when he painted Starry Night through the bars of his asylum window. 🤯

Last night was much clearer! Allowing me to resolve inner details within Jupiter's Great Red Spot, all it's minor storms in the belts and the newer outbreak (white) moving away to the left of the GRS. Celestron 11" EHD / ZWO174mm / Firecapture / WinJupos Derotation from 1.5hrs

I recently discovered that all my astrophotography is greatly improved with @AstroKatie "End of Everything" quotes on it, so I built a random generator👉🏼 Enjoy! #inspiration

Globular Clusters like Omega Centauri, the biggest in the Milky Way, hang around galaxies in nice spheres and WE DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW. Are they failed galaxies? Do they have a black hole? How?? Shot w/ @Celestron RASA 11" & @QHYCCD 247C / 61x15s 4k Resolution (Find the Galaxies)

There is a lot of space, in space. But there is also everything. Sometimes a meteor hits a woman napping in her lounge room and sometimes your entire galaxy smashes into someone else’s. 12hr RGB exposure with C11, QHY294M, SWEQ8Rh-Pro & NexDome.

From this oyster of Hydrogen comes the new baby pearl - Al Niyat, 2 twin stars. 10x further away M4 floats in the background - filled with stars, aged, depleted & heading towards their life’s end. Taken with @Celestron 11" RASA SW EQ8Rh-Pro & @QHYCCD 268M (HaHaGB, 3 hours)

A fairly deep exposure (20 minute subs, 11+ hours total) on the Helix Nebula! Some chromatic abberation with OSC, but the outer details came out pretty good! My longest integration to date. @celestron C11/F7, @QHYCCD 268M & 247C 👁
